The Essendon Football Club and Hooker Wines have collaborated to release our “collectors must
have” Michael Hurley Celebration Wine. This is a continuation of our commitment to toast and
celebrate significant milestones and careers of much valued Essendon players. In 2020, we
handpicked a selection of grapes from the best pocket of the vineyard and crafted the wine for this
very special moment.
Michael Hurley was drafted by Essendon in 2008 and has become a much loved and respected
player and person throughout his career with the Essendon Football Club. As a Leader, All Australian
player and Essendon Life Member, Michael represents Essendon with great pride and dedication. He
has overcome significant injury to play game 194, his final game in the Red and Black.
